Crown’s award winning Indigenous Programme is designed to make a positive impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia.

Our Indigenous Programme has provided more than 1,000 Indigenous employment opportunities with a consistent focus on hiring, developing and retaining employees.

Since the launch of our Reconciliation Action Plan in 2013, we have worked hard to create a culture of change both within our organisation and the broader community.

We focus on building enduring relationships of trust and respect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to lay a solid foundation for making a significant contribution to Closing the Gap in employment.

Providing meaningful employment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians is central to reconciliation, and as Crown is a leader in Australia’s growing tourism industry, our Indigenous Programme provides one of the best opportunities for our first Australians to begin a long and rewarding career in tourism.
